When you’ve a blog, sometimes you get spells when you can think of nothing worth sharing. This one has lasted over two months but truth be told, Rob’s life hasn’t been that devoid of events.
Firstly, a welcome to those people newly reading my blog through Facebook and Twitter. Hi there! Not the most exciting of blogs, but hey, it’s me.
Ok, as most of you will know by now, I completed my probation successfully and am now permanent at The Allen & Allen Group, which is very nice, save the 90 minutes I spend travelling there every morning and the same in the evening! But it’s work, and the way the country is these days, that’s worth plenty!
Christmas was quiet, like most peoples, but we had to put off seeing the parents as the train tickets were stupidly expensive, we’re going up next month to rectify that missed visit.
I’ve been spending more and more time doing the Press Officer stuff at Hampton & Richmond Borough, meaning late midweek games and long Saturdays – though not always in the same week. It’s a good job Alicia understands the need for me to have the outside interest, in fact she encourages it!
Finally, a mention to my cats, who now believe it’s their place to sleep on the bed at night, even when we’re in it. Why? Who knows, they’re cats, they don’t need a reason why!
A late message to the Kid in the office, less of the ‘Old Man’ please, or no chocolate biscuits for you!! Heheheheh!
This blogpost has been brought to you by the 120 bus and a half day’s holiday, due to an unavoidable dental appointment.
